It sounds really good. Very classic tube tone. Has a passive tone stack so it's kind of limited in the EQ but the baked in sound was very nice. Growly little thing for sure.

Hello everyone!
I think I missed out on 2 threads worth of Spector talk! It's been a madhouse here for me but I am thrilled and ecstatic to announce that my album is now complete!!!
Mastering will commence this coming Tuesday at a studio here in Vancouver and I am hoping to have it available to the public late October or early November online and in CD format (Digipack) as well.
I've decided to leave everything as instrumental with voice-overs. During the process of recording I dabbled with some vocals but they just didn't fit the whole scheme so I decided to drop it and keep the voice-overs as I feel that it ties everything together nicely and it says more than I could express in lyrical form.
Mixing took a lot of time and effort. I spent hours upon hours every day trying to get the right mix and the right levels for everything to sound the way I want it to and I think that the end result sounds good for what I can do now. Bass players will be pleased with where the bass sits in the mix
It has been an exhausting journey to say the least. It is quite an undertaking to write everything, play all the instruments, produce, mix and do the artwork but I am pretty proud of how it turned out and I hope that everyone will like it.
The musicians who were supposed to collaborate didn't quite work out unfortunately and due to those circumstances it pushed me to actually do it all in house which is a good thing I think.
The process taught me more than I could ever have imagined.
This will be a good time to thank everyone who has been supportive of this project with feedback (and the occasional kick in the arse) Sam, John, Lee Ho and everyone else. Thank you!!!

Wow. I admire everything about this project. I hope to do something like this one day. Just need my talent level to make several leaps. This is the kind of thing that inspires me to keep putting in the time to continue to improve. Sounds great, man!!!

Looks like an all original Black NS2A with OHSC - nice bass and looks like not a bad price either. The seller has no feedback so they must be new to eBay, looks like he's also got a nice black Tobias Growler up as well. No affiliation to the seller, just a nice bass and the NS2A is great bass for the buck.

DUUUUDE!!!! This is some AWESOME stuff!!! I can't wait to hear it in it's final, full-length form!
I think having to do every aspect of a project like this is more exhausting/stressful than one would expect, but I also think that is when you learn the most! Congrats and kudos to you Omer!

I used it live for one gig at a very small bar. It carried the house PA no problem.
I like messing around with the classic stuff or better yet listening when someone has vintage equipment running....very cool!
Who is all gigging this weekend?!
Playing Sunday morning as usual and then Sunday afternoon my other band, we are playing for a fundraiser in Cheboygan, Mi.. This is an annual event with a really big turnout. Only 3 bands get invited to play for this event. We feel really honored to be invited. My wife will be doing some video and pics of the event for us. I'll make sure to post in our club. Have a fun filled weekend everyone whether gigging, watching bands or just kicking back. Peace!
