Todd emailed me to say that my Walnut stain NS-5XL shipped out from NY to him yesterday. He'll take some porn shots for me, check fit, finish, and functionality, and then it's off to me. Woo hoo!!!

WOW, both of your basses will be to you within a couple weeks of each other....unless!!!!! HUMMM, the hardware could have come in and they could have it assembled already....wonder if the porn shots will be of two basses????? lol

Who is all gigging this weekend?!

Playing Sunday morning as usual and then Sunday afternoon my other band, we are playing for a fundraiser in Cheboygan, Mi.. This is an annual event with a really big turnout. Only 3 bands get invited to play for this event. We feel really honored to be invited. My wife will be doing some video and pics of the event for us. I'll make sure to post in our club. Have a fun filled weekend everyone whether gigging, watching bands or just kicking back. Peace!

gig tomorrow.. new place for us.

No gig this weekend but a double next. I am a security guard for the Patriots so I will be working the Pats/Tampa game on Sunday. Gotta love
football season.

That would be OVERLOAD! LOL When I got the UV pic, PJ had told Todd it would be about two weeks before the hardware got back from being chrome plated. Then about a few days for assembly and a week for shipping to Todd and then maybe another week for the photos and checkup and shipping to me. I'm figuring a least another 4-5 weeks for the NS-2.

This NS-2 finishing up this soon is a complete surprise to me! I thought I'd be ready around Xmas. So, Wow! Bonus.

You bet Brad. Me too. Walnut stain on tube quilted maple with ebony board? This should be a first around here. My UV with ebony board will be a first too. I've only see one UV w/o the maple board and it was pau ferro.

Quick question about the creative cuts inlays some of you guys have on your basses. I just got a set in for ,y Rex 5 but even with the single 12th fret market it seems as if the old dot inlays will still be visible. Is there a simple fix for this?

The easiest thing is to use stickers or furniture markers to color over the dots... I also have just made larger decals with extra decals I usually get with them.

Have any quick pics of your basses I could check out to see the bigger custom 12th fret? Think I'm gonna de string and try to get the decals on this afternoon. Would be awesome to see some examples.
