Eventually it happened. I reserved Markbass NY 604 cab in local dealers shop. Will pay for it and grab it on Tuesday next week. Only two cabinets left in Moscow and one of them is mine:) It's a shame that they are discontinued. Quite a bit of power in a compact package. I recently sold my Markbass head and the only gear left is Markbass Micromark801 combo. Soooo I went to the shop with my NS-2 and my Micromark tonight and check them with this NY604 cab. I used NY604 as an extension cabinet for my Micromark. I was surprised with how loud and powerful it gets with just a tiny 60 Watt Mark micro amp! I expected to get just 25% of my 45 Watt output of Micro but fortunatelly I was wrong! It was very loud and pretty low. The choice was either get a Minimark 802 combo (2x8", 150 Watt) or my Micromark combo(1x8", 45 Watt or 60 with ext cab)plus NY604, and tested both I leaned towards 1x8 plus 604 cab. I'm lloking forward to TuesdaY!!!:)))

Happy for you brother!:hyper: I can only imagine the limited resources of bass guitar rigs there. :scowl: Last Dec 2012 I tried a MicroMark 1X8 combo in GC with my Coda 5XL...I thought I was going to blow it up! :bassist: it was distorting badly. :ninja: I was looking for a traveling combo...ended up buying an Acoustic B-30 112...that really does a great job! :bassist::bassist::bassist:

Nice. Hard not to love our little Micromark 801s. Great to hear what it's capable of, too.

Hey guys I know non spector but I figired id show ya this one. Im not a fender guy at all but I am lol building 2 frankkenfenders a jazz and p and j and tbought this woild complete the trio. The bridge and pups alone were worth what im paying for it.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me. There are others here that have these and love too. Just before I played on it there was a guy playing a 4 string jazz bass on it, playing some blues licks...I liked the sound and wanted to play on it...:confused:
