In. I really need to get Spalty upstairs and take some good pics. It's such a beautify made bass. I can't imagine US built being made any better. Aside from the added US9V, but the tone pump sure has grown on me!

Looking really great!A few more daysIt won't be gloss when it's all said and done. It will be matte. I'm just digging matte finishes these days.

Thanks Donny! My former Legend with TPjr. and SSD pickups had lots of sizzle to cut thru the mix...huh. But it didn't always...the difference was putting a "Brass" string nut on her. Worlds difference, Kitty got TEETH! Lol IMHO.here is my report.
The US 18v is a very powerful preamp. With the SSD it was missing something. It sounded especially great by itself. Even my drummer said "that bass sounds soo good. Its just super punchy" but in the mix it was almost getting lost. Definitely not cutting through like my PJ and tonepump equipped Jade. I think the DCs will help a bit and I can't wait to try them out. This is a very cool preamp.

Wow! NICEHere's a pic of #347 at work.

Sweet pic with your son.Still here with my one and only now, it was my best value and most practical to keep for my spector fix, i do miss my kramer though.

Glad to have you around!Just posting so I can keep following this thread.
I will be an owner... eventually.
Being well informed is a GOOD thing. Very NICE! This MM ReBop is the first black one that I've seen...matter of fact you don't see solid black ReBops much at all. How you liking it so far? Sweet Euro 4LX! Very nice maple figuring! In with the Rebop refinish and its newest sibling a Euro 4 LX.The lx will have the gold hardware replaced,so if anyone is looking for some gold to bling up their spector, hit me up.

And the humble yet colorful Forte-4 with the good olde US-9v circuit

And the only green NS-2JA-R in the Spector world. What can I say I love refins

Here's a question. Why is the only Rex style bass in a 5 string a Forte5X? How come no 5X Pro?

one more thing about the discussion on acoustic-electrics.
There are also hollow-body or semi-hollow body electrics, I think there is one in the Spector lineup (Spectorcore?) Does any club member have one? Fretless? Anybody comment on it and its ability to cop an upright tone?

It is an awesome playing bass, very middy,so i installed a BQC control so i could tame them down a little and fatten it up a bit.Overall i like it allot. It has also converted me to a maple board guy,so i will now need a Euro 4 with a maple board.
