I play fingerstyle 99.9% of the time. I've found boosting the treble and hitting a little harder produces a close enough sound to the pick, and I've gotten pretty good at strumming with my index finger - trick I got from watching Geddy Lee play.

Well-played. I was thisclose to buying that green lovely myself. 
That's pretty but on $1300's worth of pretty in my opinion.

Hey guys, been thinking about dropping a BTS in my ReBop and wiring it for 18v. I like the option to boost and cut and I figure it'll be a little closer the my Euro w/ BQC. Feel free to talk me into or out of it. I have a BTS lying around my shop and I can always swap it back if I hate it.
What's your main musical style? I take it your going for a very active clean signal?
FYI...in case you're not on FaceBook or missed PJ Rubals announcement, there's choices for pickup arrangements for the Coda this year...single P pickup is one of the choices, YES! WooHoo!
Would you know if the 4 string basses will have the 1.625" nut, the reason why I ask is I have heard that it will be just a P pick-up but it will still have the Jazz width of 1.5"???
I play a lot of rock. I like the sound of the TP, I just wonder if I'll like the BTS more. I guess I'm kind of between "if it ain't broke" and "what if?" And I'm feeling like I should probably just try it and if I don't like it, change it back. And yes, I like my basses to be very clean.

All that is being changed right now is the addition of the P pickup instead of the J.
doesn't hurt to try, I prefer the TP with active PJs and the BTS with HZs
