alright guys I'm selling my Euro 4 with 18v installed. I'm SASin hard for Joe's JAR. Club discount applies. So either buy mine or Joe's but we gotta keep that JAR in the family. :bassist:

Just bumped both threads...fortunately I have my NS-2 to placate myself, otherwise I'd be in danger of making not one but TWO 'want' purchases ;)

Thanks MD.
I love what we do here. :)

How many of you guys are using nickle strings ? I've been through 5 different kinda of steels looking for the right ones and still havent found "the" set.

Nickels just die too fast for me. I prefer the brightness and the raspy feel of stainless.

Yeah, I like bright SS too. I'm trying DR Low Riders on my NS2 and use DR Hi Beams on my fiver.

I'm a big fan of Sadowsky black label stainless and the Circle K's which are even tension.......how ever my basic go to strings are D'addario XL's which are nickle

I like bright too but theres something about my tone I dont like Its not amps or cabinets cause its there with both heads and cabs.

If you're finding the problem through process of elimination you need to step through the whole "tone chain"...

fingers - strings - pickups - preamp - bass amp - speaker cab; they all play a part in your tone.

The quest for the right strings can take awhile. Just keep working at it. ;)
