 I checked these sites...I noticed on the greenboy site that you can either, buy an empty cabinet to assemble, buy the speaker kit, or buy the deluxe kit with everything included? Mighty pricey for DIY! :eek:I can only imagine what an assembled Fearless would cost. :eyebrow: Before laying out that kind of dough I'd have to test drive one. :ninja:
Thank you for the links! :)

They can be pricey, but mainly the drivers. I had a SWR Goliath 4x10 and one day I threw out my back moving it. (sucks getting old) I needed a lighter cab. I played a Mesa PH 2x12 one day, loved it but didn't have the cash then to buy it. I decided to build a fEARful. Cost $45.00 for the wood & glue. Next month I built the X-over and speakon connection panel. ($50.00) The month after that the big purchase, the 3012LF ($250). The final piece later, 18-sound mid & speaker grills ($125) So part of it was the journey, building my own cab. This cab more than held it's own against my SWR at 1/3 the weight. I was hooked. I build a 12/sub later. Again, not pushing these cabs on anybody, I just really enjoyed building, then playing them.:bassist:

Here's a link to my build if anyone's interested. Don't mind my G&L's, this was pre-Spector for me. :D

Yeah, Black is the best color for Spector.
Looks like i'm in.
The damn thing plays itself!
This is bad, i'm going to want a USA now.
Funniest thing is the smell…. right back to '87 when I bought the last one.

I have a Ian Hill sig. too. LOVE the bass.
The only problem I have is with the bridge. The space where to place the A string is too tight and I have to use a lot of force. Always on the A string, by stopping the string with index and middle fingers (especially on 2.3 and 5 frets) I hear a strange noise ... I immediately thought to lack of skill, but on the other strings this problem does not exist
Anyway I love the sound of this monster. This bass also brought me some compliments ^ ^

PS: Excuse me for my english...

No problem, just tested this out on my bass, no such issue thankfully. String type maybe?
I do think the nut could be filed a little bit more, but the bass came with an excellent setup.
Going to put some DR's on it tonight… then it gets put away for 10 days while I do a short leg mixing foh:crying:

Ok I found a set of daddario balanced tension string in my tech drawer, strung up jade and all is well at least at home. Tomorrow is full band practice.

On a side note I ordered some regular nickel daddarios for my jar. My funding is low right now and the DRs are a bit more.
