Some guitar shop put it on ebay. It didn't sell so I sent a direct offer. He took it. I'm thinking about putting the spare ReBop neck on it at some point. It will need some minor shimming as the route is slightly different (see original post you quoted). I may sell it to, if you are interested.

It might be more work than I want to get into. Not only would it need some kind of finishing (I hate finish/refinish work) and is totally undrilled. But considering the NS-2J-EX was a $3000-$4500 bass, I may just stay on the lookout for a NS-2J neck.

Both has tonepumps. But beyond that when I play either bass at home through 1.)Roland keyboard amp or 2.) 80 watt PA head into a 2x10 cab the tone of either bass is a lot less dark, more even and just "better"

It may just be that I'm Over Ampeg cabs right now. I actually am trading my 810 classic for a 610 Fender Pro cab today. So tonight I'll be comparing my 2 basses through my ampeg 810 heritage and the Fender Pro 610 with both amps my ampeg SVT 6 pro and GK 1001rb. I'm fairly excited for experiment lol.

I run the heavy gauge (110-50) and tune down 1/2 step into c#. Pure thunder baby ;)

I plan on picking up a dually sometime myself.

It's always a blast getting together with Jody. I got to play his new non-Spector, real good sounding bass. Play thru a couple amps, TH500 and GK 800, which I've always wanted to try both, and thru 2 Aguilar 12's. I must say, I'm going to have to buy a couple Aggie 12 cabs. Love the tone of the TH500 thru the Aggies. :bassist:

By build your own, do they send you the unassembled cab and you build it? I'd be down for that. :)

Most guys (me included) find once the get a fEARful, your other cabs go away....

They're supposed to do more of a "vintage" tone compared to fEARfuls. I think Husky runs one now if I'm not mistaken.

You can build a fEARful yourself completely, but a flatpack and assemble it, or have one built for you. The dually and fEARless you need to have done by an authorized builder. Are fEARless for everyone? Probably not. But if you like huge low end, (without mud) great dispersion, and low weight, you should try one if possible. Sometimes the fEARful guys get a bad rap on TB. Most are really good guys who love their cabs. 2 sites for more info. Not trying to convert those who love thrie cabs, just spreading the love I have for mine.....Go ahead, drink the kool-aid......:D

I have my Mesa 2 15 loaded with Fatials sounds really nice over stock drivers.
