I had a Euro4 once with the 18v and a kill switch. That switch was pretty handy. Didn't have to pull the plug every time I put it down. :smug:

That is pretty handy to have. I buy the PlanetWave instrument cables with circuit breaker button. Lifetime warrantee.

I don't hold any ill will towards Ho, if you gotta sell a bass you gotta sell a bass. He put a lot of effort in that bass so if he wants to sell it for a profit thats cool. I think he did try to sell it here on TB for a reasonable price and that's cool too.

I just get torqued when someone buys a bass with the express intent of immediately flipping it for significant profit. Those actions show no respect for the equipment or the bass playing community and only further reduce the chance that some very deserving PLAYER can financially obtain the bass of their dreams.

Life is all about karma - love and be loved or screw and be screwed!

It's not Ho selling it, this time. Ho sold it, this guy had it for like a week & is now trying to flip it at a profit. -_-

Yep, saw that. Just wanted to make sure people weren't coming down on Ho also since he did nothing wrong. The eBay flipper is the problem. I'll be surprised if he gets anywhere near his asking price on the bay.

Ho sold the bass to a guy who joined this club last week and he was asking how to correct the finish. I guess he wound up not liking it as much as he told us, good luck to him with his ebay venture because it sounds like knowbody from this club wants it at his marked up price. To tell the truth, I have basses in my collection that I found at a great deal, years ago, that I have seen on ebay for 4X the amount I paid and I would want todays value for these basses...not saying that he will ever get his asking price but who would know!!!

Well, it's one thing to buy a bass & not like it. I'd be expecting to get out what I paid for it, too. I'd also want reasonable market value for a bass I bought & have had in my collection for a number of years. But to flip a bass for $600 more than you paid for it less than a week after you bought it? Come on. That's low & 30% more than he paid for it. That's beyond recouping shipping costs & PayPal fees.

In with my pair!

Doing good except being down and out with this bug going around. As you can see I got my USA builds. :hyper: Don't be a stranger.

Jason from BSO just put up a demo of the new D'addario Flexsteel strings. Kinda like a warmer version of Prosteels (to my ears) check it out:

Ive got them right now and they are very nice . They are though very course feeling and a tad sticky . I have a soundcloud clip with them on . I really do like them just a tad more than prosteels based on the tone but the feel prosteels win.
