Poster an earlier thread but I'd figure I'd poet here with the experts. I have been eyeing a spector NS-94, I've owned a few spectors, mostly low end; performer, custom, classic, and a few rebops. I'm wondering how the NS-94 compares, I know it's Korean made, but it's neck through, any info would be greatly appreciated...... There is not too much info on them, I've tried searching on here

There's this from the Spector website...

I am definitely up for a Spector gathering. If you guys want to discuss amongst yourselves and figure out a best time to do this I will do the homework as far as hotel discounts and anything else you want to do. Just let me know. I think it would be great to get as many TB Spector guys in one place to get to hang, play and just visit and talk about our favorite brand of basses.

Great idea Carey!

If you guys want to send me some ideas about dates in a message I can put them together...we can try to do it during the summer if you would like so those of us wanting to plan a vacation can do it plus the roads will be nice for travel, any other ideas?

You know what, I'm still thinking this is a Korean bass because of the headstock label and they just used the chrome hardware for it....maybe Todd will know the answer to this one!

You know we all change out hardware and electronics on a whim. So basing identification on chrome hardware is not so reliable anymore.

Sometime in August. Maybe my FortReSS 4 will be done about then. :hyper:

Tulsa's about 9 hours away. I could knock that out in a day. If I fly I can't take basses.

That is a very cool P-Bass, is that from the Euro factory???

Yes Carey, this bass was built in the Czech factory. It was an experiment that PJ had done. This is not a production bass. There were 3 built. 2 went to artist and the other was shown at Frankfurt. PJ had said that the Coda4P DLX is their only P style at this time, no CR P's will be officially offered. Of course this is always subject to change to do demand and popularity of the USA Coda4P DLX.

A GC just outside of Seattle has this used Forte for $1999 and it plays like a dream of course. I noticed on the headstock it's listed as Forte#4 with a birthday in 2013. Does that make sense? I notice there is a smudge right before the #4, but there's really no room for another number in there. Thoughts?

It's not Forte #4, it's a Forte 4. The serial number is covered by the detuner.

Yeah, my thought would be to take off the drop tuner and see what number is behind it.
