All packed up and ready for tonight's show, I'm going to play Iris tonight...she is sounding great with the new set of DR Lo-Rider strings I got from Jeff and Todd installed.
It's not Forte #4, it's a Forte 4. The serial number is covered by the detuner.

Since you've got one now (I believe) and a Forte-4 SS on order I don't figure you need another. Unless you're collecting.
I hear they group the Forte builds together. It'd be great if we got them at the same time.![]()

Right on! I made a big 5 pack order of the DR Lo-Riders which was kind of risky as I've never played these DR strings yet. I'm just tired of breaking a string and not having a backup, so I really can't wait for these strings to come in. Gonna string up all 3 basses with them and 1 in an alternate tuning. Really happy to hear that a lot of other Spector players like these DR strings. Have a good show tonight!
Have a great show Carey. And all of the of TB Spector Brothers gigging tonight!
Ha. I WISH I could be a collector![]()
Listening to my Trailight CD, thank you Omer.
You guys are making me wish I had bought the CD instead of downloading. I'd like to put the Trailight sticker next to Defy Tolerance on my rack.![]()
That album is like ear candy, can't stop listening to it.
I love good instrumental w/samples.
Yup... been thinking of playing Trailight during breaks.

That's cool to knowThe new Legend Classic series is chrome hardware.
Here's a quick pic of my oldest guy (aidan, age 11) trying out a fretless for the first time. I'll make a bass player out if him yet. Full disclosure....he does play an arc 6 pro....View attachment 400404

The NS-94 is a high quality bass. There are guys on here that have/had them and speak highly of the NS-94. I had a NS-95, the 5 string version, and I was amazed with it. Wish I'd kept it. An excellent bass for low dollar!Poster an earlier thread but I'd figure I'd poet here with the experts. I have been eyeing a spector NS-94, I've owned a few spectors, mostly low end; performer, custom, classic, and a few rebops. I'm wondering how the NS-94 compares, I know it's Korean made, but it's neck through, any info would be greatly appreciated...... There is not too much info on them, I've tried searching on here

YES!I am definitely up for a Spector gathering. If you guys want to discuss amongst yourselves and figure out a best time to do this I will do the homework as far as hotel discounts and anything else you want to do. Just let me know. I think it would be great to get as many TB Spector guys in one place to get to hang, play and just visit and talk about our favorite brand of basses.
Great idea Carey!

August would be great!Hummm, August would give everyone time to make some plans. We have one for August, any others???

Huh...another surpriser bass! Cool!"]

Yes Carey, this bass was built in the Czech factory. It was an experiment that PJ had done. This is not a production bass. There were 3 built. 2 went to artist and the other was shown at Frankfurt. PJ had said that the Coda4P DLX is their only P style at this time, no CR P's will be officially offered. Of course this is always subject to change to do demand and popularity of the USA Coda4P DLX.
I found that the matt finishes writings smudge quite easily, too easily.A GC just outside of Seattle has this used Forte for $1999 and it plays like a dream of course. I noticed on the headstock it's listed as Forte#4 with a birthday in 2013. Does that make sense? I notice there is a smudge right before the #4, but there's really no room for another number in there. Thoughts?

+1
Boe Skadeland from Mobile Deathcamp has one, and I played it after one of their shows recently. Boe said he loves the NS-94, but his Kramer-era NS-2 is his go-to bass, cuz he prefers the P/J sound. I sent him info on the EMG P and J pups in the soapbar housings. Stealth badassness!

Quick shout out to Donny, and all the band's sharing the stage tonight with DT. Lots of Spector awesomeness going to be present tonight!
