I am very frustrated right now. I had a buyer for my Rebop here On TB only to have him make an offer, drop his offer by $50. Then I agree to drop it by $25 to get it sold because there is the perfect used euro out there for my refinish project. Only to have him want an even better deal to include the case. Then, send another message 30 seconds later saying he has decided to just decline to buy altogether. Just needed to vent.

Jeff

happens...unfortunately sometimes too often....

Swap the neck pickup leads. The NS2A Korean preamp doesn't have the leads swap opposite like the other clones and the US 9v circuit have.

Yep. Neck pickup leads to be swapped.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I`ll have to bring it back to him tomorrow, my soldering iron is on its last legs, plus I paid him for it already last time. :)

Window shoppers kinda suck.

I just ordered a Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass, so no new Spector this year. :(

If I ever do buy another new Spector, it will most likely be a Coda4P Dlx in ultraviolet or trans. green. - I just can't seem to get enough of the P-bass thing right now. :bassist:

Speaking of which, has anyone here ever tried one of the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Phat Staple pickups?

I'm with you on not getting enough of that vintage P bass tone. It was the dominate bass sound for me growing up in the 60's 70's. Should've kept that Matt Freeman P with SD quarter pounders. I'm hoping my incoming NS-2 CT-B will fill that need. :bassist:

And fixed, got a tech friend to rewire it for me. 100% now - thanks again @Awesome Sauce and @evermelon

So question ... What pick ups go well with the 18 v HAZ?
Prety sure it was designed specifically for the DC's,I'm runing one with a DCX in the bridge and a TWX at the neck in my euro and it sounds killer
It was a little tricky wireing the TW switch but after you do a few of them it's prety simple and I like having the single coil option at the neck pick up

Not cool. If you say you're gonna buy it, you BUY IT. :banghead:

The coil tap switch also makes good use of the forth hole when instaling the 18v in a euro
