No. They thought it was a Warwick Rockbass!Whatcha wanna bet GC priced it and graded it as "good" because they think someone stripped the finish down to the wood![]()

This bass plays amazing and the flame is insane on this thing! I'm going to switch the preamp out for sure. I'm leaning towards the tonepump, but I may spring for SNC, Aguilar, or a Spector 18 volt pre.
I already have an NS-2 and an NS-4, so I'm thinking I want something different in this bass. I don't like to have duplicate pre + pickup setups usually.
Gorgeous bass
Lots of pickup/preamp options out there. How about Lace Alumibars and a DG tone capsule? A pair of big splits/big rigs/big singles and an OB3?

Hopefully one or both gets a scholarship.
My daughter is banking on a hockey scholarship. My son, Crew. Told them they can get academic ones too! We'll see. They can start talking to D1 schools in June. Daughter already has some interest from. D3. The grind to get there though is intense. I could have a few US models for what a season costs. I guess we all get to where we're going at some point.Ah. Yeah. Hoping more than one scholarship - my eldest actually has 1 more semester before he gets his MA from WSU (Go Cougars), and this is the first time he's doing it without a financial scholarship - his prospective employer though is saying they'll cover everything after the fact. We'll see.
That sucks. Unfortunately this is nothing new for Sims. Been going on for many years. IMO, a 14 week lead time is unacceptable especially for what I would consider a standard refinish. Wilkins quoted me 6 weeks and had it done in 4. Marty Bell did a body in 3 weeks. Like the concept you came up with. Hopefully you can get it finished to your satisfaction.

Right, I was thinking you might have some other stuff. Rebops are tough to beat, mine is incredible. The BTS I bought off ya, a 40P5 and a 40DC – dropped those into my Rebop a bit over a month ago, all sounds fantastic![]()
