Is there much difference between the NS Pulse and NS Pulse II series? Or is it purely just the cosmetic differences in terms of the finishes on the body and no dot markers on the fretboard on the Pulse II?

Looks like the maple top and satin finish are the only differences.

Do you or anyone else happen to know if these knobs are metal or plastic? I'm looking for some nice knobs with a little weight to them.

Metal, but I believe they are aluminum.

I had a deeper dive on the link above and there are some differences I noticed besides the cosmetics. On the Pulse II they have a pick up blend instead of volume/volume on the Pulse I. There's also a Spector locking bridge on the Pulse II compared to a Hi Mass Locking bridge on the Pulse I. Those seem to be the only hardware/electronics differences I've noticed.

I have a Pulse II on the way so I was just wondering
