One injury I forgot to mention!! I couldn't walk in my heels.
Fixed. Today's session moved the nerve in my strap ahoulder which also moveD my left foot. Now a nerve under the neck on both sides and the right shoulder remain. Those will take much longer, but my recovery rate is "Ridiculous."

The NS-5XL arrived yesterday, and it doesn't suck 
Not sure what is different about the finish (if anything), but I really don't mind the gloss on the neck thus far. Differences between the XL and H2 are about what I expected; XL is clearer with a bit more bite and the H2 is thicker through the mids without the sparkle. I'm actually a bit surprised that I can dial in about 95% of the tone with my Warwick SSII (BLASPHEMY!)... *REALLY* wish the US circuit had a mid control

For me, music is addicting. 9+ hours a day. Terribly addicting. As we have noticed, dsngerously. I can play guitar and piano decent and really love playing ERGs and MIDI film composing. Ibanez guitars vs spector basses....injuries highly unlikely. Keyboard is almost impossible.
With practice just like bass I can do well on both and not have the issues I do today.
I've thought about swapping to 7/8 string guitar for a while. The only reason I bought my 5 is because Rondo music refused to make a custom guitar, so that money went to a spector.

I was stunned that my Legend 6 was countersunk with threaded brass inserts also.
Yet none of the (higher up) Czechs or US NS2 I owned are.

I mainly find it interesting that one US bass is countersunk and the other US bass isn't... a product of the size of the OBP-3 perhaps? Haven't cracked the XL open, so no idea about the inserts, but I know my H2 doesn't have them.
My NS5-H2 has the brass inserts, but the plate is not countersunk. That's my only gripe about this bass!
The concave back probably does not help matters I'm sure, maybe that's why the 'lower end' basses have countersunk plates?
