The only thing you're guilty of here, if anything, is taking it back to that "repair shop" for the second, third, and fourth times I know enough to do my own setups, but it's still worth it to me to take my main players to the local pro on occasion for a fine tuning - nothing to be ashamed of there.

In my defense , I brought it back only to complain that I had paid for a setup and there were more problems after they touched the bass than before I brought it in. The sad thing is, they kept having the same guy work in it even after I complained about him. My wife was saying I should go back after Limaguy fixed it but at that point, I didn't even want to go near the place.

Getting a bass without a neck pickup is the best thing I have ever done! I never liked Stingrays, so this Spector is a gift from the Bass Gods (aka Stuart Spector!).

The NS5-H2 basses have Hipshot bridges, not Spector bridges.

Playing on bare grass/dirt.
Be careful of grounding issues (not with your non-bridge ground Spector though, just the mics and other guitars) so as not to fry yourself. That's fairly dangerous.

Fine, but it has nothing to do with the point at hand. That's a third party bridge Spector used for that model....because they don't have a Spector bridge to fit it.

But for regular 5's they have this new lefty one that's the same size as a currently available USA.
Have you heard about it?

The problem is if something is not grounded properly with the equipment....you could become the ground (electrical).

This would be bad.

Uh-huh. And the main power amp is rather 'vintage'...

Intonation - you mean moving the saddle back and forth? I did that with no issues on my Rebop4, 5 and NS-2A.

Wait until your 'floating saddles' fall on the floor because you forgot to tighten the set screw. Then you'll rethink having no issues. Ask me how I know

It does not have EX in the model number, just says NS-5H2W.

rulyongo...YES this is the punchiest bass I've ever encountered in my 15 years of bass buying! It even has my old G&L L2500 beat.

Nice! I bet that does give you some serious punch with a MM pickup in there. That's a great combo, because I've personally always found EBMMs a little hard to play. Kind of slow.
