Spector Club - Part 11

There's a guy in the Rickenbacker Club who inherited the money to buy his after his Father's death. The bass was made within weeks of its occurrance.

And now that you're talking about Spectors leaving & returning....who has a RED NS2-A they'd like to sell me?

I can't guarantee the option to buy it back, though.;)

Ok, count me in for now.

Just picked this up off Craigslist for $600. No, it wasn't stolen, but it's pretty HOT! I may or may not decide to flip it, but for now I'm enjoying it and for what I paid, I'd have been stupid not to!

Yep, it's a Euro5LX w/EMG DCs and TonePump preamp. The body is the 3pc w/Walnut plate in the middle. Aside from a couple minor nicks, it's in better-than-showroom condition. Not a swirl in the finish or even dust on the sides of the pickups. It was almost completely unused.

I'll take it to a hard rock rehearsal tomorrow night and I have a feeling it may replace my trusty G&L L2500 for that particular band. We'll see...

Yeah. The FedEx/Kinko dude in Tucson remembers the package but, it's not there and it has not been scanned in yet...
Adam on Bass is freaking out about it, he sold it to me and shipped it by personally dropping it it off at FedEx/Kinko's...
If I have to make a road trip to Tucson... there will be a job opportunity at FedEx/Kinko's coming soon.....:eyebrow:

I sold it to a guy, regretted it every day, thought about e-mailing him and asking him if he wanted to sell it back to me, then one day I saw he had it for sale. He was selling it because he only played it once, then put it in his closet, so it was in the exact condition (perfect) as when I sold it to him. Great guy, we just did the exact same deal in reverse as when I sold it to Jim!

That's an awesome story Jim! So far no regrets...almost! If I would've sold my NS-95 I would've regretted BIG time!!! :eeks:

Just ordered my bass from JPSbassist yesterday. I can't wait to get my first real Spector! I'll make sure to post pics.

I have had one Spector before. It was a Euro 5LX I bought on craigslist for $300. The preamp was totally blown and at the time I didn't have money to fix it up, so I sold it to user on TB. I don't know what ever came of that bass though, but it felt amazing!
