I thought I posted this last Friday, regarding your strap search, but apparently forgot to hit submit.

Please look at Italia Leather - Leather Guitar Straps - Bass Guitar Straps. I have four from them and am quite pleased. Excellent materials and workmanship.

Their stock long is 54", but they will do custom lengths, sizes and colors, also. Shoot them an e-mail and I bet they can help you out.

These straps work really well for me and are similar in design to the Sadowsky strap without the name on them.

Yeah, no kidding. Wait, A stage? We don't even get that. The little restaurant we play at every couple of months doesn't even have a stage. And the door to one of the kitchens is where the band sets up. So usually 3 or 4 times per set some is going right through the band to get another keg or glasses or a mop or something.

If someone is looking for an NS-2A, here's one for a good price. It needs a little bit of cleanup, and a couple fixes, but if the trussrod/frets are good, it's a cheap neck through Spector:

Oop! Neotech straps. They can be purchased online at Guitar Center, Musicians Friend, Amazon, etc.
