Lol :O ! I already offered up my kidneys a couple months ago and there wasn't any takers...:crying: I hear on the black market they'll pay $10G's. ;D
I say I need to play the lottery but one problem...I forget to buy tickets! :mad:

BC has a vulcano red Tube quilt maple on their site that's just liquid fire!!
I had a NS-2A cherry burst and just couldn't grow into the color either. But that ultra amber is awesome! I'm more of a blue color person typically.

I hate to confuse you more but

What Ice said is almost correct but,

I have to jump in and say,
The New USA Bolt On are not fully curved.

And the older Korean builds NS-2A and NS-94's & 95's are fully curved.

But for "new models" as general simple rule.
USA Neck-Thru and Euro Neck-Thru and Bolt-On's are fully curved.

OK... Let's all get on the same page...

If you are talking about the body being scooped out, that the tops are convex shaped and the backs are concave... this shape is commonly referred to as a negative maniscus.

The following models all have this shape:

Professional Series Legends.
Europe Series Neck-Thru and Bolt-Ons.
USA Series NS-Neck Thru and Bolt-Ons.
ARC6 Electric Guitars (USA & Pro).

Flat bodied models are:
Forte X models
USA X models
Legend4-X model
Rex Pro
USA Rex
RX-T
Coda
Webcaster
RX-GT

NOW... the issue with the USA NS-Body Bolt-Ons and the Legend Series Basses beings "Different" than the USA Neck-Thru and Europe Series NS-Basses (Bolts and Neck-Thru) is the rounding of the surface edges.

The wings and bodies of the "Fully Carved" NS-Body instruments are just that, they're rounded on every surface. Actually there are NO flat surfaces on these basses.
Whereas the Legend Basses and USA Bolt-Ons are more traditional and more squared...

The USA Bolts have softer edges than the Legend models. But they all have curved bodies.

The diagram below should help sort this out.

Close but no maple board or quilt top :D

I'm being particularly fussy as I'm looking for a "bass for life" - it's gotta be perfect. A lot to ask for a grand, I know.

Thanks for all your help by the way guys, it's really appreciated. Mind if I carry on hanging around and dropping questions in when I come up with them?

Darn. Oh well. I'll save for longer. How much do they normally go for used?

I quite like the White one but I'm in the uk so wouldn't be able to play it first. Plus, I'd have to factor shipping and taxes into the equation :(
