Spector Club - Part 15

Also, question to my fellow club members, what's on your pedal board?

For me it's just a Boss TU-3 > Ashdown Lomenzo Hyperdrive (a must try at least for anyone looking into overdrive/distortion) > Jim Dunlop 105q bass wah.

I'll need to get recordings eventually of bass wah over death metal, but it works I assure you, haha.

I went thru a faze with pedals at first, but I know just go straight in. I just didn't like the tone scooping that certain pedals caused, couldn't get an octave sound I liked, and have never been a big fuzz fan. I wouldn't mind one day trying a sonic maximizer in the loop, but that would be about it.

Which one can I have?

None these unfortunately for they are either not real or they belong to someone. Check it out...
1) The Black Pearl = mine
2) 2011 NAMM Show-Stopper = Todd Cooke's
3) Water Cured Redwood NS-4 = mine
4) NS-5XL = is actually a Euro5LX-EX I Photoshopped the correct knobs on to make it look like a USA model.
5) NS-6XL = never seen one in person... these are very rare. This is a Buckeye Burl NS-5XL that I faked a thicker 6 string neck on.

That being said, you can order one like any of these, for the none of them are beyond the very real realm of possibilities for what Stuart can make.

The specs for the NS4H2-FM says Spector 9V is the preamp, but in the PDF I downloaded from the site, it says OBP-3?
Can you clarify?

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Yes. The USA Bolts come with the Aguilar OBP-3 circuit.
That ad is way wrong on a lot of things and I simply don't think it's correct. Gold hardware=No... USA 9=No... unless this is a special order bass. And if it was then why would it be on Ebay?

On the Forte:
Someone said that the only option for it was the TonePump.
Sorry, that's wrong. The option is for the USA 9v Circuit.
Actually the correct name is, The SPECTOR® USA 9-volt Tone Circuit(TM)

I will take very good care of her bro. Can't wait until Wednesday! :bassist::hyper:

+1! I'd love to have the $$$ to hang onto everything that I buy but...

wow I don't know if I could own a bass that beautiful.... Registered my new bass and PJ says to pass on his best to the club. Man I love Spector!!

Thought I would ask here before I buy new... anyone have any p/j emg pups they aren't using.... I want to upgrade the pups in my NS-2A and them maybe upgrade to the tone pump or BT system.... The bass performed very well at rehearsal last night. The spector brand pups were a little weak compared to the emg-hz / tone pump I have in my DLX4
