I'm getting tired of this question- If you can't be bothered to read even a page of this thread, then (IMO) you don't deserve a number.
Didn't get what ya wanted for Christmas, huh? :smug:

I feel dumb... I read the first 3 posts. I just went back to the first page and saw that. Lol. Dang.
Why should you feel dumb... You bought a Spector! :hyper:

Here's the deal:
My only spector bass is a Zebop 5 so far. (Which i can't describe how much i adore)
I'm having a good deal to get a Legend 4.

The question is:
Will I be having a different (or at least not completely identical) tone?

Cos I can't find a Legend in my area to try out.

edit:
I decided not to buy it after all, cos it's not smth i need right now, though i really loved the idea of having another spector around :)
I also decided that my next spector should be an NS one :D

No, I didn't want yet another person to forgo actually reading the thread of the club they wish to join.

It's not just Wasted, this question comes up once a page and I'm tired of it.

Edit: It tried to go back and put the rules in my post on the first page of Spector Club pt. 2, but couldn't. I would put them here but when the thread goes to page 28, it would be as though I didn't, and what's the point in that?

When this thread get to be up around 900 posts, someone should start Spector Club pt.3 (or whatever clever name is thought up) and in that initial post, lay down the rules.

That's a hell of a price for the rebop, if it's new.
I got my zebop from thomann music store new for 1199 euros...
(It's too much for what our US friends pay for these, but in europe it was a good price. Plus, i think that it's so good that it's worth it :P )

i've played warwicks for a long time and spectors were always my 2nd favorite. well i came to the conclusion that i had too many wicks so i got rid of one and decided to get my first spector. it is a brand new euro 5 lx ex with the poplar burl top. it is beautiful and i can't wait for it to arrive! i will post pics and request a club # as soon as i get it.

also, thanks to the spector club members for all the advice that helped me decide to purchase this bass. i look forward to becoming a part of the club.

Yeah, it's new. I got mine from the Bass Merchant in Essex from Ebay. I originally saw the same bass in the Ultra Amber finish, so we traded emails, and I asked whether they had a Rebop in black cherry in stock (I originally wanted it in that colour), and they did. I rang them up to finalize everything, and it was a done deal. :)

Can't wait now, should be here tomorrow or Friday. :hyper:

It's here! :hyper:

It gives me my perfect tone for metal, it's so punchy, and if I add a touch of overdrive with my ODB-3, I feel like I can move a mountain!

Now onto the pics: (Sorry for the mess, I've got a lot of old stuff I've got to throw out).
