Not trying to question your integrity or anything, but I'm confused. Are you saying that this Mighty Mite pre is a real Hazlab (made by Hazlab), or is it just a preamp on a board shaped to fit into a Spector cavity? I had a Toby Deluxe with a pre that has the exact same board shape, and that pre fits into the Spector cavty perfectly, so I know there are some fakes out there.
I have an NS-2A. I'd love to own a Hazlab pre, but I just can't imagine that Spector would ever use something that would end up on a Mighty Mite website 20-something years later. Are you certain that this is the real thing?
The preamps that looked like that were an asian made copy that honestly doesn't sound like a Haz. I like the sound of them, but it isn't the same.
I'd assume mighty mite is another variation of the import copy.
Love 'em.
