PTH 4tw!
I just got back from seeing them. Arif was playing a particularly nice teal Euro 5LX, sounded amazing, and he's an fantastic player.

Hey does anyone know why a US would not have the signature on the back of the headstock other than if it had been refinished? I am looking at one at my local shop and it doesn't have the signature but it looks like an original spector finish. Please help....![]()
Here's my Euro 5LX complete with recently fitted ACG02 preamp - sublime. Sorry about the fuzziness - it's gloomy over here.

This thing is going to be crushing.
I'm seriously thinking about trading my USA MTD for an NS-5XL USA...I would guess they are a bit lighter than the previous Chech series, but I'm guessing they are still around the 10 lb. range.I am new to Spectors. I don´t own one and I can´t recall to have played one either. But I want to buy a Euro LX 5-string. But first I want to know the weight of it. Does any of you know what this bass weight?
Somebody loves their bass!![]()

Correct. My old Czech-made, neck-thru Spector, an NS5CRFM, was about 11.5 lbs. The Euro LX are not solid maple, like the NS5CRFM was, they are equal parts maple and alder with a thin layer of walnut in between. They are still substantial, but not quite as rough on the old neck & shoulders. They should range between 9.75 and 10.75 lbs. on average.
