Just like any good gateway drug, my new ReBop4 has me thinking Euro4LX next
What can I expect the neck difference to be like?
Yes, a painted gloss neck vs. satin on the ReBop, but what about width and thickness? Same fret wire?
What about the body weight and balance? (BTW my ReBop4 gives me no negative neck-dive vibes)
Tonally, how does the P/J set compare to the 2 EMG MHZ using the same TonePump?
Unfortunately, I have no way to try before I buy, so I'm counting on you guys to help

I have the NS-2JA-R... Don't have a ReBop, but the JA-R and the ReBop are built on the same frame. It's the pups and tone circuit that are the main difference.
All of my Spectors are either gloss clear finished or gloss painted necks. And honestly it took no time to get used to them.
My ARC6, BTW is a satin/matte finish. I don't know but moving between the two has never bothered me personally.
Same gauge fret-wire. Slightly different neck profile. Of course my JA-R has a Jazz Nut and so the neck is a little more narrow at the nut than the ReBop.
Body feel is the same because they are both true NS-Bodies... meaning between the EuroLX and ReBop. The EuroLX will be a little more heavy. But actually will feel more balanced.
The main thing will be the tone. The active P/J setup will shake the ground. No joke. We're talking some powerful low-end on the Euro4LX. My Euro4LX has some low tone ability that my USA NS-4 can't touch with its two EMG DC humbuckers.

All the HTDA (How to Destroy Angels) remixes were recorded with the ARC6-B electric and my Euro4LX. The NIN (the two Beginning of the End remixes) were recorded with the ARC6-B and the USA NS-4.
The Jukebox Hero Remix is the heaviest on bass... two bass tracks running at the same time. One deep for timing the other bright and high for melody.
The Backwards Funky Duck remix was recorded with the Euro4LX and a funky duck peddle effect. I also used my vintage NS-2A Fretless to add these strange slightly out of tune notes. I also played with the song's timing...
On all the remixes I did the drum tracks as well. Basically, everything you hear other than the vocals was arranged and recorded by yours truly.
These remixes sort of put my basses and the ARC6 through their paces. Different effects, drop-D tuning on a few.
I mainly wanted to show that you can get some amazing tones out of the much maligned TonePump. Both my fretless and my Euro4LX are running current TonePump Circuits.
And the ARC6... man. It's a dream guitar. That thing is as amazing as any of the Spector Basses. An incredible range of tone possibilities.
