$228???
Someone at MSK Music F'd-up.
Definately a Euro LX-TW. Maybe 35" scale.

That's cheap even if they thought it was a Legend. :bawl:

With free shipping no less......:bawl::bawl::bawl:

EDIT:
Looking at the guy's feedback/past auctions, he seems knowledgable.
I'm sure that was probably a brain fart/oversite of some kind.
It looks new in box, opened for pix. It was probably meant to be $2,280.
I wonder what eBay's policy is as far as honoring it?:eyebrow:

Just email them or call and tell 'em what bass as specifically as you can. Should be able to hook that up. :bassist:

Ok...I talked with PJ over the phone this morning. The USA NS-2's brass nuts are shorter in height than the Kramer NS-2A, which is what I have. So I need to shop for an aftermarket nut...:help:
PJ recommended stewmac.com and warmouth.com and allparts.com. Anyone have any other sources ordering from past experience finding one? Thank you!

I had a brass nut made for mine (I mentioned it before). I think your best bet is to purchase some brass nut blanks (these are like the ones I purchased) and either measure and carefully file it yourself, or take it to a guitar tech/luthier to have them do it.

I bought some nut blanks for Warmoth that appear to be the right dimensions. Theyll have to cut to perfect length, but the heigh and width seem pretty good. I got bone and brass to give both a shot.

If it actually sold for that amount... someone literally stole that bass hahaha

Thank you JP & crimson_basser...I thought about that route of making mine from blanks but feel...intimidated? PJ sending one for my Rebop5 though! :D can't wait to try it. For now I might glue together the broken piece. /:

Did you get a brass one for the Rebop5? That would look really cool!

Oh yeah!! :D I ordered one today for the Rebop5! PJ checked with the head tech to make sure that the Euro5 brass nut is same size as the Rebop5. He said yes it is. $20.00 $8.50 for Shipping, $28.50 total. Great price!

I got my blanks from Warmoth but I got 4 different blanks, and two of each.

2 brass blanks that appear to be the right size
2 more that arent but would probably fit a guitar or a fender neck

2 bone blanks that appear to be the right size
2 more that again arent, but would probably fit a guitar or a fender neck (the blanks are big enough to get two nuts each out of them)

Each blank was 4$-5$ each, came to 32$ total and then 11$ in shipping. 48$ in all, great deal if you ask me. Yeah, Ill have to get them cut perfectly to size, filed and whatnot but I can sell the blanks that wont fit and get some of my money right back :)

I just found a guy that hand cuts and files brass nuts for $25.00 a pair + $4.95 S&H, custom made. Worth it! I found string nut files for $140.00...that's a big investment! Probably wouldn't use much either. Rather have an expert custom make them for that price.
Having him make 1 for my NS-2A & legend classic 4.

I mean, they can't be real for that price, right?
