It was made in the Cort factory and does not have the same cool factor but is still an above average instrument in its own right.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger today on the NS2000/4! The money I would spend on customizing the legend would have been close or more than the cost of the ns2000 I just bought. I have some emg 35DCs and a tonepump laying around so I'll probably drop those in it. :)

Can't wait! I'll post pics when I get it.

I'm not sure the rest of you are wondering. I'm sure many remember this.
Gary Willis was doing this and saying that the increased length gave better tension and tone to the B string.

When the bass community at large informed him of the fact that any length beyond the witness points (bridge saddle and nut) of a given scale length will not effect tension between those witness points (regardless of any debatable tone effect), he backed off it and I'm not even sure if he still does it to his basses.

I played again with the NS2A I recently bought, and once again I'm struck with just how nice a bass it is. It's by far the most comfortable bass I've ever played - that curved shape, for some reason, means that it sits in just the right spot and angle for me. I don't ever have to consciously think about playing position, it's just there, just right.

The only problem with it is that I'll need a 5-string version before long. :D

Oh I know, I just meant a similar Spector 5. The rest of this year's tax refund is going to recording costs, next year I'll look to replace my Warwick 5 with a Spector Euro probably. I'll decide later if I want a neck-through or a bolt-on.

With the bands I'm in right now, the only time I really need to use the Warwick are the one I'm playing with tonight - the others I can use the 4. More Spector playing time = more gooder. :)
