I got my Spector Legend 6 from Phat today... I haven't had much time to mess around with it, but dang!!!! It's great! The string spacing and neck profile is perfect, and it's very easy to slap on. I'll mess around with the electronics and EQ my amp for it tomorrow. I wish all 6 strings were this comfortable...

I play in an AIC tribute band here in Boston and tonight was the first practice I've gotten to trot out the NS2A.

Man, if that doesn't put the finishing touches on the music I don't know what would.

+1 oh yeah! :D

Man! Now I wish I would've bought it. But I have no need of a 6. Glad to hear it's everything you were hoping it was & more. :D

How unfortunate...

Yeah, this Legend is really comfortable but I'm gonna have to take some time to sit down and EQ my amp for it. It's much different sonically from my Rebop, but the Zebop is tuned down a step and a half. I'd like to get some deeper tone out of the six. Between these two basses, I am lusting after a Euro 6LX-EX Zebrawood so hard right now.

New bass alert! NS 2JA-R!

No "real" pictures of it yet. Just a quickie from photobooth. Will probably post a real "review" of it soon with some better pictures. Dont mind the mess in my room either. ;)

Initial reaction: HOT DAMN. Such a gorgeous and slick bass. The neck is smooth and buttery, as per usual. I wasnt sure what to expect with a solid candy finish, but it seems quite nice as of yet. Well see how it goes when I get sweaty and greasy on stage.

Aesthetically its in perfect condition save a thin brownish scuff mark on the top side of the neck by the 5th fret. Its no big deal, I might be able to clean it off, but regardless, its hardly noticeable and doesnt affect the playing at all.

I cant wait to get this plugged into my rig and open it up! I may lower the pickups a bit, the band I plan on using this in is heavier, and I tend to move around and rock out quite a bit. I also use a pick and strum pretty hard, I dont want to be mashing my hands all over the edge of the pups!

Congrats! Check out Mr. Simmons in this vid.

Can anyone give me their thoughts on Invalid Link Removed

I'm in the market for a new versatile/"inexpensive" bass... that is one that I have my eye on... just need some pros and cons... currently with and Ibanez EDC700 (main workhorse) and Fender Jazz Custom....

I have the 5-string version of that bass, and used to have an Ibanez EDA900. Definitely a few steps up in every way.

I have that model in slate grey high gloss. 34' scale 4 string...
I love it, I get more range in tones and playability than the EDB600 I had.
If you like your Ibanez you love this bass. Have you played one, yet?
