The first three USA Models that were done with a BEM fingerboard were:

NS-2
NS-5XL
NS-5H2-FM

So yes. There are BEM bolt-on models out there.

I'm posing with the first USA bolt-on with a BEM fingerboard in the picture below. It was purchased by Todd Cooke for the Guitar House of Tulsa. I think he put it into his store for sale. I don't think Todd kept this one.

An interesting point... BEM Bolt-On necks have Abalone Inlays and not MOP as is typical of the stock Pau Ferro models.

If I had. $5400 clams the NS-5XL Bahama blue would be in my stable...
He also has a new NS-4 Water-cured Redwood for $5700 clams...Arg!!!
The 5r Water-cured Redwood sold.$4400!
Anyone want to buy a good kidney??? :eyebrow: lol ;D

JPS...when I buy 3 more Spectors that'll make 6 in my stable. Somehow I don't think 6 will be enough though... :eyebrow:

so.... I'm confused.... from the website it looks like the Rebop is now available with ONLY the zebra or the Black Cherry maple top.... can anyone confirm that these are NO LONGER AVAILABLE WITH THE NATURAL (no stain) FLAME MAPLE???

I hope I'm wrong about this...

That NS-4 is special. It has the 1.5" nut.
It's a really nice guitar.

Looks really nice! Whites not for me though...I'd keep thinking the pups need paint. Lol just me though. Nice bass!

I had that happen years ago on a 5'r with a mismatched B.
It does deaden it somewhat due to silk rather than metal making the witness point contact at the nut.

And the other issue that Chris' is probably dealing with there is the string is already starting to taper for the wind around the post, which means it's probably not seated in the nut slot properly.

Actually the problem I am actually dealing with in that picture is

A) it's not tuned at all

B) the black knobs that come with the bass dont fit EMG pot shafts that come with the pups. Meaning the pots were disconnected for the picture to put the old pots in.
