JPSBassist is there any USA bolt on with maple fretboard out there?
Any video?
JPSBassist said:The first three USA Models that were done with a BEM fingerboard were:
NS-2
NS-5XL
NS-5H2-FM
So yes. There are BEM bolt-on models out there.
I'm posing with the first USA bolt-on with a BEM fingerboard in the picture below. It was purchased by Todd Cooke for the Guitar House of Tulsa. I think he put it into his store for sale. I don't think Todd kept this one.
An interesting point... BEM Bolt-On necks have Abalone Inlays and not MOP as is typical of the stock Pau Ferro models.
Great photo JPS! milo said:Its not Rebop its USA bolt on.
I have Rebop 5 string and body is much smaller and edges are rounder than bass he is playing

JPSBassist said:Yup... that's the one. Sent to me for BPL, displayed at BPL and then photographed... then shipped to Todd.
Beaver still have the other two listed for sale on his website... the NS-2 (Black Cherry) and the Bahama Blue NS-5XL... which I'm surprised that one hasn't sold yet. In person it's a stunning guitar. Absolutely beautiful.
lol ;D
If I had. $5400 clams the NS-5XL Bahama blue would be in my stable...
He also has a new NS-4 Water-cured Redwood for $5700 clams...Arg!!!
The 5r Water-cured Redwood sold.$4400!
Anyone want to buy a good kidney???lol ;D
JPS...when I buy 3 more Spectors that'll make 6 in my stable. Somehow I don't think 6 will be enough though...![]()
JPSBassist said:That NS-4 is special. It has the 1.5" nut.

Someone here on the board about 6 months ago had an EMG PJ set in White that I toyed with picking up and then picking up a Black NS2A or Czech to put them in.
Looks like you need a longer scale of string for your B.
I had that happen years ago on a 5'r with a mismatched B.Does the red string wrapping on the B string affect the sound any? I see it extends past the nut into the fretboard on this picture ^^^^ above.
I had that happen years ago on a 5'r with a mismatched B.
It does deaden it somewhat due to silk rather than metal making the witness point contact at the nut.
And the other issue that Chris' is probably dealing with there is the string is already starting to taper for the wind around the post, which means it's probably not seated in the nut slot properly.
