Wow. Sweet deal on a not often seen green Euro, 'specially w/the PLEK treatment to boot. So are you gonna divulge the latest indulgence or do we have to wait?
Can anyone explain the different models that Spector offers? It may be a tall task but I'd really like to know the difference between the major in production basses that Spector makes. I know the Legend series is the "lowest" on the totem poll and I'm assuming the US series is the highest. What about the ReBop and the Euro series?
I'm thinking Euro or Rebop would fit well into my price range.

I picked up my Spector NS-2-JA-R 1983 Reissue this afternoon and went to jam for a few hours tonight. I'm very impressed. The range of sound it delivers is astonishing compared to all these years of playing with only my Telecaster. I feel like Rip Van Winkle.
It's easier to play, is well finished and looks great in black. I put a set of DR Hi-Beam mediums on it and the punch is fantastic. Bright and punchy or smooth and mellow when I want.
I also scored a great deal on it. $899 ($2099 list) although another poster said he saw some go for as little as $600. Is this discount normal on all Spector models?
This bass is so good I'm afraid it'll make me spring for a top of the line NS-2 or NS-4 before long. I wonder if they'll do one in a black stain?
