It arrived this morning. I've spent the day becoming acquainted with her. Not used to a 5 yet, but I'm gonna give it a fair shake. Thanks for including the string box so I'd know what I was playing.

Oh stop it :o

Let me know how you like it, it should be there soon, no?

I am eagerly awaiting my new Spector as well, I should have it when I get home a the end of the week, probably have to wait to go get it on Saturday AM though :hyper:

Only have time to post one picture. I'll post more later tonight. Just had time to plug it in and try it out and.....OMG...:cool::D:bassist:

WOOHOO!!!!

I was just thinking about you and wondering if it came in! Congratulations, Pat!

Am I seeing things or does it look like the Schaller straplock buttons have been swapped out?

Wow!! That's beautiful! Does it play as good as it looks? I got confirmation that mine has been delivered and have made arrangements to get an earlier flight back so I can get it tomorrow afternoon!!

Yes, it definitely plays as nice as it looks, or even better. :D I going to give it a real try-out this evening. That's great news about yours. I'll bet you can't wait to get it in your hands. :bassist:

It's super nice! I love neck through the body, I wonder how I'll feel about the NS-2JA-R's bolt on? Man that body is figured nicely on your Euro. Those are Dunlop strap buttons if I see correctly.

Yeah I'm not sure why he picked black, except the leather strap he sent with the bass is black. So maybe that's it. I'd like to know what those NS-2JA-R's are like as well. Especially in comparison to this one.

Hey...I want in! Just found this forum but have been playing Spectors for last 15 years...Im partial to the Kramer era, but I just bought a Euro5 and I really dig it...here is a pic of all 4 of my Specs::hyper:

Which one's the Samick Spector? Could you post some more pics of that one? I've never seen one in person before and this is probably the closest I'll come to seeing one.

Sure! I had it for quite a while before I emailed PJ at Spector to find out what it actually was...LOL... he informed me that it was an NS2A, but that it was one of the "later" models that was built in a "different" factory. It is neck-thru with the Spector pickups and active preamp. The bridge is different than the Kramer NS2A's, and the knobs are different too..its definitely an odd-ball...but it sounds great! Incidentally, the white one is an NS2C with the bolt-on neck and it is my main bass...if anyone out there has a Kramer NS2C they would like to sell, I would love to have another one!
here ya go
