my green Euro 5. I no longer have the natural oil one. that was traded towards the Bolin NS5 I now have. shame that as the flame was lovely and it sounded a little mellower than the green one even though they had the same tonepump circuit

Picture of my Euro neck thru. Bought it several years ago. I do not think it is a EuroLX - but it does have a TonePump and not the EMG BTS. i have toyed putting the EMG BTS in it but have not done so yet. I "believe" it is an all maple body.

It is a great bass.

Thanks man. I kind of thought it had a classy look when I bought it. The thing has great punch and a helluva a growl to it.

My girlfriend calls it my "cloud" bass. With that "cloud" motif in mind, I have been thinking about sending my truss rod cover to this guy:

and having him make a custom truss rod cover. I was think an ebony cover with an abalone lighting bolt on it similar to his example S6.

Legend 5, ah, such a nice bass ^^
I got mine after only trying a Performer which I believe they stopped making. So when I got it delivered it was SOOO much better, even the Performer was nice. They suggested I try a Schecter Stiletto Custom 5 in the shop, tried it the strings just felt too loose to me and I couldn't play it properly, it seemed a better bass overall but I like a nice amount of tension on my strings.
What colour did you get it in?

Despite being "only" a Legend, I really like the playability of this guy. Got a good deal locally on it.

I set it up with coated strings, and found out that I don't like coated strings. So I'll end up going with my Blue Steels or Fat Beams.

Anyway, I'll save your inbox from overflow and just ask for my number here.

The family shot, minus the new Dingwall and Lightwave.

Hey there,
First post on these forums. I am a guitarist who has switched to bass. I just recently bought a used 80's Spector NS2A. I have always wanted one after seeing Sting play his white one in the 80's. I emailed Spector about the details and some info does not add up exactly. My NS2A has EMG pickups and it also has Gotoh tuners instead of Schaller. I have a question about the EMG set up. I have a volume for each pickup and a tone for each, there also seems to be a black wire inside the cavity that is not connected to anything. I got such a great deal on this bass, would it be a good idea to update the EMG system? I'd like a seperate bass and treble control instead of two tone knobs. Any feedback welcome. :bassist:

Oh yeah, I'd love to have a number!

Nice bass! I'm thinking of upgrading as well. If you get any good suggestions, please forward them to me at [email protected].

Thanks!
