Spector Korean or Fender MiM

Please Pardon my ignorance..i've been trying to read through post then thought what the heck may as well ask .

I am looking at getting another bass...not that i need one i just want another. I am happy with my basic Ibanez sr200 but want something else. was considering a fender jazz or pre or anything that caught my eye really and this korean spector caught my eye looks nice I'm not sure about 2 emg humbuckers though...

Any thoughts on this bass vs the mim fenders.....

If you did not already have the Ibanez I would recommend the Spector

However for a different vibe the Fender may be a good way to go since
its a lot more mod friendly if you wish to upgrade later (pickups, active pre etc,.)

I have owned both a Spector Legend and MIM Jazz Bass
and to me at least both were pretty much the same quality wise
Both companies crank out winners and complete dogs as products
Play before you pay .. so far I have been very fortunate as far as getting
awesome instruments either from a Mexican Fender or a Korean Spector

The MIM Jazz at one time ran circles around my US Fender (until I had the US Fender setup that is) I am not sure the same can be said of the Korean Spector vs Czech?US made Spectors....
PLus I found while the sounds from the Spector was nice , the Tonepump Jr pre was not as versatile as a good three knob Jazz bass
