Just noticed it today actually on my P Bass as the action on it is set low. My EBMM Ray didn't move one bit but probably have to check my other basses.
If it needs adjustment I just buy a new bass.
Not really. I own more than a dozen basses , imagine having to set-up each one when the seasons change!!
High action ? No problem ! Nowadays I’ll only do a setup if the action is so low that every time I fret a note I only get fretbuzz from the 12th fret.

My 2015 Ric 4003 seems to be settling down somewhat, but generally asks for its truss rod to be adjusted in spring and late autumn. My '83 4003 with the old-style truss rods never needs adjustment.
When I had my '72 Tele Bass, it seemed to need truss rod adjustment anytime a cloud went by.

I did last year, when my bass was still new, but not this year.
Very slightly if any. Being in SoCal the weather isn’t too extreme. Bass will go out of tune a bit but when back in tune the relief is the same.
Living in the desert, I used to have to do that every spring and autumn. Not so much now that we're out of the desert.

Here in MO, is a large swing in humidity from spring to fall, and winter and winter.
So sometimes 4 times a year. Tweak the trussrod, takes :30 or so

Yes, in PA I notice a seasonal difference enough in some basses to make a tweak a few times a year. It’s not bad enough that they are unplayable, just a little better if adjusted.

Wood absorbs moisture. Some more than others.
This is totally normal, and that’s why there are adjustable trussrods.
On Basses with a trussrod wheel I can actually make the adjustment wearing the bass on stage!

I haven't noticed a difference in playability...yet. I guess I will find out soon enough. One of my basses has trussrod access at the heel of the neck, so I certainly hope that doesn't need a tweak... PITA and I won't touch it. I have a setup guy that does superb work. It will be going to him.
Picked up P Bass yesterday, and I was like....holy moly....yeah....it needs a reset. My new Lakland Skyline, nope....
