Squier Classic Vibe 2019

Could you please provide detailed photos of your VM fingerboard please? Thanks!

I'm so jealous, I already have the CV60J but I'd love a CV60P now

That's is my old photo shot, CV60J no longer with me.
The reason I let it go are.....
- Much perfer CV60P neck profile, my current VM Fretless P are pretty close.
- Narrow nut width.
- Weight 10lbs+ compare to 9lbs CV60P.

My current Squier bass.

I recently traded for a 2017 American Original '60s Jazz. Since it's a '17, the rosewood was still nice. Not dried out at all. I put some Howard Feed-N-Wax on it yesterday when I slapped some flats on it. Can't tell too much from these crappy pics, but I think it looks richer afterwards. You'll notice more of a difference if your rosewood is old & dry.

As it turns out, I had to go by Lowes yesterday, so I made it a point to grab a bottle. If the results are that noticeable, I'll post some before/after pics.

Sorry for off-topic, but what's the distance from neck (12th fret? or any solid reference point, just not from bridge, because different models can have different sized bride plates) to both J pickups for 60s and 70s spacing/placement? Preferably in cm/mm. Because the pictures on the website show kinda same spacing for 60s and 70s models.

The white CV precision 60 on the right has a pretty dark fingerboard. CV basses are really good... ;) Hope the next generation is just as good.

I think Indian Laurel is fine. I would even say that it is really good looking. I treated it just once with Fender Fingerboard Remedy. It was a bit dry though when it arrived in the mail.

It doesn't seem to be Indian Laurel but a rosewood you got here.

Here’s the family portraits. Mostly Squier CV, signature models, and a couple of Fenders. Have added 4 more to the family tree since these pictures were taken. About time for new pictures.

I am pleased how this has turned out. It started about 14 months ago when my wife agree to let me get a new bass for birthday, and a birth year bass at that. At the urging of a good buddy, I tried a CV 60s White Jazz. Liked it so well I also picked up a CV 60s Sonic Blue P. I was hooked. So instead of 1 birth year bass, decided to get as many of these for same cost. Love how the collection has turned out.

Oh, and that buddy couldn’t have done it with out him, his help, urgings, and direction. Thanks TN Woodman.

I'm so jealous right now. I love Classic Vibe, but there's so hard to come by in my country. I only have the 60s J from 2011 and that's my favourite bass so far. Even though the Olympic White finish is super fragile. She sounds amazing, no matter what. I'm truly jealous, man!!
