Squier Classic Vibe 60's P bass.

How long is this special going on? I got a Vintage modified but this CV looks so good and its really tempting. Do you think its possible to sell a brand new VM p for $240 to fund the CV. I got a little jumpy on black friday and didn't look for a CV 60's P. Any way I'm sure that either will be great it just seems that the CV is a little better.

jkramer...I got mine online at sam ash. squier had 10% off and then anything over 225 was 50 more dollars off. not sure if that deal is on as of today though. it seemed like a bargain at the time.

That is a good deal, it sucks about the $250 being in store only, neither of the 2 sacramento area stores ever have it in stock. I've asked a bunch of times for them to get one, they have all the other ones all the time and in fact I own the VM jazz and P that I got there.

I was just there yesterday, both area stores, and they didn't have it, just called both and talked to the sales guys and no go, bummer.

$300 is a great price for it, so I'm gonna grab one online. Thanks for the info. I'll look at sam ash.

One thing you might want to try is to go into Sam Ash (or another store from GC) and tell them about the price that GC is selling the basses for. I got my CV jazz from Sam Ash (GC didn't have one) for the same price. They'll price match. All they have to do is call and have them look it up on their computer.

I've done taht too, but I'm in super saver mode. I'f I buy locally, I pay sales tax. Usually I can get them to absorbe that by discounting the item by the tax rate (8.75% here) . The thing is, with it not in stock, it's got to be shipped any way so driving to the store just to have them order it online, doesn't get me anything.

I can't get them to match the $249 price because there isn't anywhere for them to call or look it up.

I'm really happy at $270, heck it's a good deal at $349

Did you guys talk to a sales person because I did and they said if I ordered it and it was outta stock that they would charge it for normal price. At least thats the way I took it. If not I'm gonna order it up tonight.

What I took the sales as is if the item was out of stock then it didn't qualify for the sales. I asked them but it showed up on your cart but I thought that they charged the full price when they finally got in. Like I said I might have misunderstood it. If I did then the VM P I ordered is going back and I'm getting the CV
