Yeah, the control plate holes will need to be drilled larger to accept the USA pot diameter but at least I know full size pots will fit, thanks. Not that there would be anything wrong with high quality American mini pots.
I suggest just leave the pot stock, they turn smooth and work well. Both pot increase and reduce volume and tone range nicely.
The only thing i mod is capacitor, from stock .05uf to .1uf. i found that .05 uf sound boxy-honky while tone knob roll back from 40% to 0%.
i have no longer own the indo CV50P anymore, but my advise is stock pup sound dark ,boomy and high output, this baby sound poor amd lost in mix with well broken-in traditional flatwound bass string. I highly recommend bright sounding roundwound or bright sounding flatwound bass string like EB Cobalt flat, Group flat and Fender 9050L to get better tone balance.
