Sorry for reviving a long dormant thread, but there seem to be quite a few of you who have replaced your stock SQR PCB. I have this bass and I am trying to track down the OEM PCB; do any of you know where I can find one?

Squier Contemporary Active Jazz 5 preamp swap?

Don’t know. I had a tough time finding ANY info on the stock pickups or PCM. So it’s probably going to be difficult to find one other than from someone who swapped it out for an upgrade. Hopefully you find someone willing to send you theirs.

I have an OEM PCB from a Squier Contemporary Active Jazz V that I swapped for a Darkglass preamp today, thanks to the info in this thread, so thank you everybody! I swapped the entire wiring harness minus the jack and battery clip, and I didn't clip any of the wires except the black wires from the pickups, that solder just wouldn't melt for some reason. But, as far as PCB, connectors, and pots, it's all there and still together. If you're still trying to hunt one down, I'd be happy to ship it to you if you just pay the shipping.
