Squier Jaguar Short Scale Club Part 3

Hello everybody.
This one arrived yesterday. It's great!
Today he's going for a set up.
I'd love to join the club.

Any new sources for pickguards? Mine warped in several place after sitting in the sun during an outdoor gig. I'd love a tort guard if they're not too expensive.

I had one done at Jeannie's and one custom made.

The one from Jeannie's they did a good job. Fit perfectly and looks good. Look on eBay under Squier Jaguar Short Scale, they sell there and give you an idea of their product. Plus they will make one out of any of the materials they have. It works best if they have your original (which is what I did) or they can use a tracing. They also have standard ones, but as they say, these things aren't all made exactly the same so the pick guard might not be a perfect fit.

Is Jeannie's even in business anymore? I was looking at their site day before yesterday, and practically everything referred you to their eBay store, which eBay then says does not exist. I sent an e-mail to the address on the site and have not heard back as yet. It didn't bounce tho'.

Count me in...
My Squier Jag is currently in storage but here's an older pic I have of it. It's the black on black bass (6th from the left, inverted) and has been modded with a spare John East preamp I had on hand and will eventually get a replacement pickup for the stock jazz pu (needs more balls in the bridge position).

You are 109. Unless you have something picked out already, DiMarzio seems to be a popular standard replacement. I know I like them.

Nice family shot.

109 sounds great, thanks! On the pickup front I wanted to replace the jazz pickup with something really different from the precision pickup. I was looking at a lipstick pu that would bring in that twang type sound and might be an interesting mix with the split p. I don't recall the brand name right now.
As for the family shot, I'll have to update it since I just picked up a pink paisley tele bass to go with my blue flower one.
