I was comparing the 14th century popularization of the guitar to the notion that the world is not flat. The catholic church just admitted that the world is round like last decade.

That kind of ignorant, bigoted stupidity has no place in a forum like this. Consider yourself filtered.

When I used "lutheran" instead of "luthier", it was meant as a malapropism and a joke. I use it all the time. I regret the conflict it has started.

Furthermore, I hope that neither of you is ever in a restaurant when I'm ordering tortilla soup!

How 'bout we get back to talking about how we love our Jags and all the stuff we want to do with them?

A matter of opinion... I prefer the original ones myself !!!

Now that I look at the headstock, I can see your point. However, a streamlined headstock would have been a good idea given the body shape of this bass. Also, the stock tuners give one more to grab when tuning the bass.

It's is mainly theoretical to me, because I wouldn't change much on this bass. I'm not into modding. I'd be scared of destroying it. Even if I was, those tuners would not be where I'd start.

But the nail polish on the pickguard sounds like a fun idea.

For those still interested in switching out pickups, here is a site with some clips that you can use to compare different pickups. I found it while looking for GFS reviews. There is a jazz and Precision clip for your listening pleasure. Invalid Link Removed

I'm torn between a Bronco and a Jaguar SS. I didn't get the chance to see them side by side so I wonder...: are they the same size or is the Jaguar bigger and if, how much? And weight-wise....is there a difference or does the Bronco just look lighter? It's for my wife and she is rather petite: which one would be easier to play? And last but not least I'd like to find out total length and width of both of them. Pheew - lots of questions and much appreciation if answered ;-) tx, Keenast

No problem , honestly these jags should be about 100$ more then there going for , I have a feeling holiday season they will go up in price.

Orderly blinding I would say there is a greater chance of getting a good jaguar then bronco...............btw mine was bought for my girlfriend mainly, she loves it and was playing it today.
