Hello all. I'm a new guy but wanted to let you know a gig bag is coming soon.I work for the big F and actually designed the Jaguar SS. I'm pretty proud of it. Anyway, we got delayed on the gig bag development but it will be available soon. cheers. I have a silver prototype...

Since I (and probably everyone else already bought some sort of carrying item). How bout a coupon for a free Jag Gig bag at the Fender Store, or at least half off?![]()
I'd go with an old style tweed case for the thing. That'd be sweet.
) and it was all over. SOLD! SX had a lock on the cheap bass market but with the headstock change and Squier putting out basses like this I ain't so sure anymore. Big bang for the buck and cool color scheme. Like how the headstock matches the pickgaurd. Gives the bass a Nice "flow".So I picked up a CAR one yesterday. Total impulse buy. I have a birthday coming and figured I'd go down to the local music shop and check out the VM and CV basses they had. Figured I'd have to talk myself into a $280 VM Mustang or maybe the 75 Jazz but was really looking for a shorty. Picked up the Jag and liked the feel. Looked at the price ($170) and it was all over. Agreed. That headstock change really killed SX imo. Plus, the Squire is a much better crafted bass.So I picked up a CAR one yesterday. Total impulse buy. No, that's dead-on; others in this very thread have said as much.oh yeah, read a very detailed review online today, overall it was a great review. it did mention that the jazz pickup was much less powerful than the p-bass pickup. said the p-bass pickup was a keeper & the jazz should be replaced. anyone else agree with this or was the review bass an oddball?
