Here's mine:

Overall the workmanship is decent. The setup was pretty good out of the box. I'll wait for the bass to settle in a bit before undertaking any major tweaks.

The only mod I'm considering is swapping out the stock bridge for a Gotoh 201.

I plan to write up a full review in a couple of days. Looks like I get to be lucky #13??

I'm in! I have had mine for several weeks now. It is a fun bass to play and sounds fine (weak j pick-up). I have used it on a couple of gigs, and it rocked! I agree with the previous reviews, mine looks great, sounds fine, and the price is amazing!

I am going to black it out eventually (stealth) and maybe add some alumitones. I will use the p pickup in something else if I go with the alumitones. So far I have blacked out the nut and edge of the pick gaurd and added dunlop strap locks. Hipshot ultra lights, a black neck plate, a black string retainer, and black pick gaurd screws are on the way! I will have to make the control plate, all part of the fun!

Today I adjusted the intonation from out-of-the-box very good
to - perfect.

Perfect up and down the neck.

And regarding the J pickup. I would definitely agree that solo'd, there's better out there, but - when both pups are up, you really get an awesome, versatile tone out of this bass.

I continue to be more and more impressed. There are some really good low end basses out there. This one joins the party, and adds to it - some impressive tonal versatility at this price.

Really loving this bass.

I figured this would be the best place to ask this question: What kind of neck does the Jag SS have? Is it more like a P or a J in terms of thickness? I love my Squier Jazz but I have little hands. I got a used Jay Turser viola and absolutely love it, and am considering getting a Jazz-type short scale. Thanks in advance!
