As for wall hangers, I use these... cheap and sturdy as long as you don't use the screws that come with them.

Wow! Greetings from Finland!! I just found this cool forum. Well, I ordered mine today, it's shell pink all original and should be in mint condition. I'll post pics later when the bass arrives. Looking forward to be 40th member. Peace!!

Yes! I got her 3 days ago, took 2 days to find my sony cameracable. I found her accidently from salessite that sells everething used in Finland. Paid 250€ (little under 270$) for it, including Fender Mustang basscase and Fender strap. Condition was not all mint, few little dings, but I think it's pretty close to mint. Can't complain, like there was so many to choose from, actually not any. What a wonderfull little bass, plays and sounds great. I was thinking to put new chromes on it. E-string on those old flatwounds sounds like a rubberband. Tuners are small ones, not big ones like in burl0029's shell pink. I couldn't be any happier..

Nice. Is yours actually pink? Mine has aged to a sort of peach-ish color.

I found all four of mine in different places. Blue was the first on my local Craigslist. Black next via eBay. White third on Talkbass. Pink fourth on Craigslist in Brooklyn, NY (was listed by a pawn shop). I also bought another blue one on eBay for my neighbor and another black one on TB. (I'll be selling one once I decide which one to keep). I may have another white one on the way (eBay) if the seller ever decides to ship it. I'll be doing the same as with the black one (keep one, sell the other) once I choose which one I like better. I think I have a problem. I spent about 7 months finding all four colors (with way too much time committed to searching multiple sites).

As for looking at pawn shops, that's a total crap shoot. I called the local places a couple times, but they never had one. I gave up on trying them as I don't actually go to any shops regularly and it seemed like low odds of just calling and hoping they had one. Plus, it took too much time compared to Internet searching. But if you're patient and get lucky, there are great deals to be had. Good luck.

Thanks - I just wanted to know what to expect. I've been having fun modding my Bronco, but it'd be nice to have a MusicMaster I'll have to keep an eye out for anything you'll be seling!

Burl is unquestionably the king of finding Vistas so definitely follow his advice. I've found 3 in my searches, a pink one, which I resold almost immediately, and a surf green/blue one, which I had for quite a while but was talked out of by the bassist of a popular local punk band who really wanted it to match the funky colored guitars used by his bandmates .
Both of those I found off internet classifieds site, in this case Kijiji in Montreal. I also found my current one - which was originally black but had the paint stripped off the body to a natural finish - used at a guitar store I frequent. Three years ago they popped up on the Classifieds somewhat regularly and often at very reasonable prices, but now I hardly ever see any and when I do they are usually already gone.
