I think I saw that one in another thread, it's a Bronco in Musicmaster clothing.

Always been happy with Chromes on mine. The regular short scale version of the Chromes fit perfecly on my Vista even with the string through. Your results may vary

I've also used Chromes to great effect. Haven't tried any other flats yet. I do have a set of black nylon tape wounds that are pretty sweet on my black Vista. Still haven't bought the black guard yet.

Since it is string through I would imagine the LaBella Mustang flats would work, though I haven't tried them myself.

I finally got a photo of the new white Vista. Amazingly I like this one better than my previous one. The aesthetics are better with the same high playability. Tonight I did a shielding job to cut down on the single coil hum and the result was amazing: it's now dead silent.

I linked to a couple of youtube demos and these sound great. One hum bucker, and a vol control with a push/pull coil switch. Sounded great through the amps used in the demos. The ones I saw for sale were pricey, even a couple of years ago.

In the process, I saw this on youtube titled "The Worst Vintage Bass Guitar In the World pretty damn funny.

They used to be available on a couple sites but I can't find them anymore. The closest thing I can find now is the two-saddle Bronco bridge. Other than that you're looking at trying to find something sort of close and calling it good. There was one that sold a few weeks ago on eBay for under $30. I should have bought it just to have it laying around. Good luck.

Dang! I guess I'm no longer the only white on white member.

Ha! Not to burst your bubble, but I've had a white one for along time. This was just a swap. I need to take a new family photo. I've swapped out the black and and the white since I originally took the photo of all four colors. I may have swapped out the pink one as well, but I can't remember. I do know the blue is still the very first Vista I bought.
