Pm Surferjoe46. He'll know but I've read enough in my seasons here that many have had success pasting Squier necks on Fender bodies and vice-versa.

For what I have experienced, the Affinity series only (usually) varies in dimensions in the following areas:
- The body can be thinner - a good thing I think - sometimes.
- The headstock will usually be the older massive big headed ball-end - which I think looks bold and scares the pointy-headed basses off the stage.
- The tuners will be slightly smaller on the backside as in: the flat plate with the 4 screw mounting holes will not touch each other like a full-on Fender bass tuners will be pretty much touching each other.
- The pickguard screw holes mostly will NOT line up and the PG itself is usually a different dimension in some critical areas that makes them mostly not interchangeable with the rest of the upper-$$ Fenders and even Squiers.
- The potentiometer bodies - the 'cans' on the pots, are smaller - which is sometimes a good thing on a custom build.
Everything else is either pretty close (as in horseshoes or hand grenades) or Right On dimension wise.
FWIW, the finish on a few of the Affinity series SEEMS to be a little thicker - like it was dipped into the polyester clearcoat instead of having it sprayed on.
Ohh Ohh! I almost forgot:
The PG is usually single ply. This may not be a rule though - just my experience --- and I like to leave it that way to show that a relatively cheaper and much maligned Affinity can smote some mighty high-pocketed multi-$$$ basses.
I beleive it's from 2006 (I will have to double check that) and it's from Indonesia. It's an Affinity series... Outside of that I don't know haha, I picked it up off of craigslist several years ago. I haven't picked a specific neck yet but I would like it to be Fender
Looks like it hangs over the rounded edge.![]()

I'm thinking about putting a maple squier vm jazz neck on my 2017 affinity pj bass. Should the neck fit without any problems, and will the affinity tuners fit okay, or will I need new ones.
These are great, just make sure they have the correct number of screw holes and they should be a perfect fit.Looking for P bass pickguard replacement ?
