Squier tuners

Any way to tighten the tuners on my new Squier VM J short of swapping them out for new ones? They aren't real loose right now, I mostly only notice when the strings are loosened. They do hold the tuning well, I just want to know should they get too loose down the line. If I could get away without having to go to the expense and work of getting new tuners, I would rather do that.

Don't worry about it. If they hold their tuning then they're good tuners. I have a Squier Affinity P-Bass, and I've swapped out just about everything on it (except for the body and neck) but I've kept the original tuners. They're the small tuners with the covers on the back of them, but I've never had a problem with them.
