Squier Vintage Modified Precision V: who's got one?

Chef, try one, they are really awesome...fit and finish is fantastic, neck has 18mm spacing and is very comfy, just overall a great bass.
I have the Olympic white one on it's way. T'will be here Wednesday

I'm not gigging and just bought a bass last night, but that red and maple look so good! Plus, the VM Jazz basses I've played were really nice.... ahhh hell maybe I'll order one next week...

Do u know if the USA am std p bass v pickup fits these ?? Assuming so, but can't find pu dimensions.

I am really interested in these, but I would like to hear some feedback from someone who has spent some time with one of these in their hands.
I played one the other day. It looked great! Olympic White with a maple, bound and blocked neck and a brown tort guard. Fit and finish was very good. B string was a little weak, in my opinion. But the bass needed a little set up. Worth the price of admission, I think.

don't mean to highjack the thread, but I just rcvd a Squier VM Jaguar V 5 string 3tone burst today. Same neck/pickup as the Squier VM Precision V.
FYI - the Jaguar V p pickup size is the same as my USA Am Std P V 5er - makes sense. the j pickup is 4" wide.
nice bass as is, and looks to be great for mods. 5 string P/J, and plenty of room for a preamp.

No it was a precision neck. A configuration I've never seen either.
speakin of wednesday, I get my used black MIM Fender Jazz Deluxe from the big brown truck. I'm so gonna over mod it startn with drillin holes to make it string thru- after that the unecessary bridge replacement followed by the new demarzio ultra jazz 5's and new preamp just because I can! ... of course I gotta hide it cause the ole lady says shes gonna kill me for previous GAS.
Uhmn...not to be a buzzkill, but Fender doesn't make a bound & blocked 5 string P-bass neck. In fact, their only 5 string P necks are on the Am Std and the VM 5'ers. Both of which are dot inlay, no binding. The VM Jazz 5 is bound & blocked, though.
