Stöner (former Kyuss)

I finally checked this out too. I love Brant's solo albums, so I'll give anything he plays on a chance, but man, Stöner is even lamer than Vista Chino.

The live album sounds way better than the studio one, but they seem to have some kind of beef with the label that did the live record, since they've publicly disowned it on social media.

You know what, I revisited Vista Chino, and I think their album might be worse than Stöner, but both of them are pretty bad.

I'm really digging his bass tone on this new album, with a nice subtle growl metallic sound to it.
I believe the amp below to be a Sunn Concert bass head.

What is the head/preamp above it, with the strong lighted EQ?
Looking at the color, I thought about the Darkglass A/O, but the EQ and size does not seem to match.
Any idea?
