Stage 81: S/D thread

I look like a dillhole (you were supposed to make it look like you were posting the ad shhhhhhhhh)

I didn't want to post cause I love everyone here but I can't keep up and I didn't wanna swoop in and post a mod-deletable ad.

This shirt isn't limited I just didn't want to have to answer dozens of "can you hold one for me I get paid in seven weeks" emails

I've worn a shirt with a tiger on it and I've never had a tiger so buy a shirt or five!

It's rough cause 80% of the people ordering if like to comp but the math just doesn't work out.

LOL, no dillhole, I just knew fellow doomers were looking to get your t-shirt, so just sharing the post lol

We love you Sonny!

Congrats on the turn table Dbd! I've got I think the LP80 and love it. I left it stock and run it into a pair of powered studio monitors. Sounds pretty good but the bass response is lacking. Think when January rolls around I'll try to find some nice 70s speakers and get a decent amp. Would like a little more bass response than I get now.

No worries, much love from the doom thread on FB. It is a sick shirt, I need to order one.... When I sober up :)

Looks great Jmac! Did you ever try buying bigger feet for yours? If so, if I recall correctly you through bolted from the bottom into the amp, do you know where I can find feet that fit with an opening that fits those screws? I never got around to putting the feet back on mine and it's been vibrating around on my cab. Dually throws out so much low end.

Glad you got your Orange back George. I really dig mine.

Thanks Man! Yea, I've recycled the factory orange feet on both builds. However, I've had the TB500 move around on My 15/6 when I really cranked it. All said, The penn-elcom feet that rushing mentioned are a much better alternative, and would keep things from sliding around. I may wind up ordering some of those for both My amps, the next time I place an order with Parts express or MCM. FWIW- I've used the thicker version of that Penn-elcom foot on all My cab builds and they worked great.
These little amps do sound great, which is why I couldn't pass up the deal on this TB1000 when I saw it in the classifieds ($675 shipped, in almost new condition).

So, I've been given the opportunity to buy a Supercollider for cheap here in town. Definitely within the Xmas gift limit from the missus. I know I've read some people mention the Supercollider in the past but can't recall if it was for good or for bad. What's the general consensus with these boxes? Its a v2 with the mid knob, if that helps.

If I had audio on my work computer I probably wouldn't be asking right now...and I don't want to wait too long because the last Supercollider that went up on these classifieds lasted about a day before it was sold.

Worst comes to worst then you can resell it in less than a day if you need to.
