Stage antics? Ideas? Get creative!

For drums is simple make sure you have a chick with a skirt and if you know what I mean a chick with a skirt....... and then make her sit on your lap. =D

Now that's just leaving antics and entering an different realm altogether....

Get carried out on stage in coffins. My friend's band did that years ago

Saw a local singer do that but with a twist. He was put on stage in a wardrobe.The band started playing the intro to the first song and over the music was the sound of a chainsaw starting up.Sure enough,the saw comes through the front of the wardrobe and there he was!Jason mask on and looking menacing.Unforgettable!

The best local band that I have seen (Electric Shoes, from a Chicago suburb) threw glowsticks into the audience on their last number. I think it was kindof a cheap gag for an awesome band.

As an audience member, I don't really like an elaborate show, unless it's a psychedelic type thing in which case it is called for.

Play music that is so interesting that you don't have to be an attention whore to get noticed.

oh your soooo cool man

i hear ya. but we play 3 times a week (not that much i know)....even though we play over 70 songs....and we improve and jam and rarley play the same song the same way twice....even that can get old....plus we have the same people coming to see us over and over again....so it's fun to mix things up and put on a show in every sense of the word...you know! i like creating a whole ecperience for the night which can include more than music.
