Standard Operating Procedure for Older Threads

guess you missed it.

so funny, and ironic.....

Irony

a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.

Yes I do find some level of amusement that a thread about the S.O.P. for threads is posted in the wrong forum, hence going against the "standard" set for forum organization.

That isn't being the forum police by any means.

It's very simple. There are certain people on TB who complain about everything who are collectively known as "jerks." They are not happy unless they're complaining. They think they are moderators, and they jump at the chance to school someone about anything and everything.

However, they are not to be confused with those who complain about people who spot 10-year-old threads and revive them to answer the question the original poster had 10 years ago. Those people deserve to be schooled.

At any rate, your best weapons against the complainers are a sense of humor and pity for them living such empty and unfulfilled lives.

This sums it up, those people who make search complaints will also go into a thread to say it's pointless or complain about something. I simply like to call them out on the fact that a normal person would just not read the thread about effects or metal for example.

The fact they go out of their way to complain just shows they like whining and need a life. Literally a thread they don't like they go and whine about. Sometimes will go to a whole sub forum and whine. If you call people out on it they have nothing to say.

There is a point to this....Don't worry about it too much. Go ahead and search if you have something to add go ahead. If you can't find what you're looking for in search make a new thread. Doesn't matter life's to short to care what some people on the internet think. If there's an actual issue the MODS will tell you. Yes if your avatar doesn't say mod or staff you are general admission like everyone else.
